Hi, I’m Lindsay —

a UX UI Designer

I was raised as a nomadic hipster as a child but was born in the poutine-loving city of Montreal, QC, Canada, and currently in the foggy city of San Francisco. I am a compulsive doodler, a lifelong learner, and a lover of all things creative with an obsession with human psychology.

My curiosity for the human and the creative led me to earn another degree in UX/UI Design after an existential—post university crisis with a background in Economics & Mathematic degree, which taught me about the remarkable intersection of the human experience and data.

I have worked as a UX designer and visual designer, working with a range of clients and goals. I have utilized a diverse set of skills while working on mobile platforms, including iOS and Android, as well as desktop. Implementing new features and re-redesigning the experience of a product. I have led a team and been the team, assisting founders of their products to shape ideas and help establish companies to iterate on theirs.

My approach to design is daring, meticulous, and playful. I aim to intrigue, entice, and move people through my work and experience by using an eternal dichotomy between divergent and convergent thinking, scientific method, and creative mess.

Need UI design? Covered. Best practices, hand-crafted visuals, and creativity are at the ready. Something more strategic? Knees-deep in research it is. Understanding industries and project requirements and executing based on that intel is standard – no objectives or stakeholders are left behind.

I’m currently working as a UX-UI Designer at The Boston Globe Media, focusing on digital news platforms. I’m also becoming increasingly passionate about new AI tools and how to incorporate them into my workflow to improve and speed up delivery.

I have been trained to be proficient when working remotely while dealing with complex projects and strict deadlines. During my career, I learned how to collaborate well with cross-functional partners, including product managers and engineers. I am also used to combining my versatile experience with my ability to connect with people to create the best work environment with my team.

Design has always been a part of me — I drawsculpt, and tattoo people for fun. A washed-up retired college basketball player. A CrossFit’er for the bragging rights. Quad-lingual - fluent in English, French, German, and Haitian Creole. I was raised in 5 different countries!
